Mike Whitlam CBE

Mike has worked at a senior level in the Charity Sector for over 35 years and has been a CEO or Director of a number of well known organisations including the Red Cross, Save the Children and Vision 2020 the Right to Sight. He has a particular interest and passion for Africa, particularly those countries that have been seriously affected by armed conflict or famine. He has been seen in many TV programmes covering these issues, with over 600 million people having watched the two documentaries on his visit to Angola for the Landmines Campaign with Diana Princess of Wales. He is currently a Consultant to a number of Charities and on the Board of others. As a volunteer he is running a community link programme with a community in South West Uganda.
