Trustees

Our Board of Trustees is in place to ensure that the Foundation is run within the guidelines of Charity Law. The Board sets the strategy for the Foundation, makes decisions regarding funding proposals, and brings funding opportunities to the Foundation in order to assist in its aims. We are extremely fortunate that our Trustees have a wealth of knowledge and experience in Africa and in the charities sector in general.

Advisory Council

The Advisory Council supports the work of the Trustees, giving advice to the Trustees in respect of grant making and provides them with strategic guidance on the direction of the Foundation. The Council is made up of people who bring a depth and breadth of experience of Africa or specialist skills from a medical, scientific, educational or financial background. Membership will be enlarged in line with the needs of the Foundation.
